Konjac is a plant native to Asia, that is used to produce a type of "low-carb pasta" in the shape of vermicelli or rice, also called "shirataki". It can be found at your local supermarket, mostly in the gluten-free section.

200 g shirataki/konjac rice
2 tsp olive oil 10 mL

Method

  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly to remove the smell and drain.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the rice, cook 1-2 min, with stirring, until all grains are hot.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the oil and serve.
